Dish HD Network Offering Free Satellite TV? Do Not Believe What They Tell You

Everybody has seen the ads for free satellite television. They are not only all over the internet but you can spot them everywhere offline too - "TV Dish and Receivers Absolutely Free"
What every single one of is asking is "Where is the catch?" Is it really free?
There is no simple answer to that but I will try and make it clearer.
Believe it or not the equipment is totally free - the satellite TV dish and satellite television receiver. If you think about it - they cannot give you absolutely everything at no charge. And what you pay for is the subscription itself.
There are two major satellite TV dealers in the US right now - Dish Net and DirecTV.
What DirecTV offers are more sport channels but the number of channels that Dish HD Network offers is far greater.
Recently Dish released a new promotional package that lets you have hundreds of high quality channels for less than $20.
What you would get for no charge at all with Dish Network are the satellite TV system and the installation.
If you have an older DVR (digital video recording) receiver you would have the option to upgrade it or to get a HDTV receiver at no cost.
If television is your primary form of entertainment you might like what Dish Network offers. They offer more movies, shows and HDTV channels than most TV providers. All of their programs are broadcasted in digital format to get a far better high quality picture and sound.

Filipino Tv Options From Dish Network Satellite

One reason to get satellite TV instead of cable is the foreign language programming option. Sure with Comcast or Time Warner cable, you might be able to get a Spanish package added on, but as far as other languages there is not much to choose from.
Take for example programming in the Tagalog language, which is primarily spoken in the Philippines. Many immigrants now living in the United States speak this language, yet it is very difficult to find entertainment in their native tongue. That is where satellite TV companies like Dish Network and Direct TV come into the picture.
Because of the popularity of satellite TV systems, both Dish TV and Direct TV have expanded their foreign language offerings. Dish Network Filipino programming can bring up to seven different channels into your home in the Tagalog language. The Pinoy Mega Pack headlines the offer from Dish Network, and is only $24.99 a month. Five different video channels and two 24 hour a day audio channels are available through this package.
If you just want a basic Filipino TV package, that is not a problem either. The GMA Pinoy pack reduces the number of Filipino channels down to four, and the price is also lower, coming in at $19.99 per month. The Viva Pinoy pack is a bit less, $16.99 a month to be exact with three channels from the Philippines.
Now you might think that to get these great prices, you also have to subscribe to an English language package through Dish Network. The good news is that your are not required to do so, though you certainly can add one of the Dish packages if members of your household would enjoy such programming. The only requirement to get these Filipino language channels is a two year commitment to Dish Network, and the addition of local channels which are $9.99 per month with a foreign language bundle.
So why settle for little or no foreign language entertainment with cable TV? With Filipino TV packages from Dish Network, an affordable and entertaining alternative is available throughout the United States.
